The chalet is the ideal hideaway, accessible only by ski, foot, or skidoo in the winter. While totally remote it is easy to get to, only one hour from Geneva airport.
At 1550m, La Ferme is the highest inhabited house on the mountain with an excellent snow record. Le Grand Bornand’s 100km of pistes can be accessed from our front door making it perfect for families. Hardcore skiers have awesome off piste and ski touring and can pop to La Clusaz, 10 minutes away, for another 150km of pistes.

Ingredients are locally sourced and our mountain menus have been carefully curated to suit your every need. Your week will be fully-catered, with breakfasts, afternoon teas and three course dinners with house wines and beers all included (the team will help tailor your dining experience on their one day off).
Authentic alpine chalet
La Ferme sleeps 12 in comfort and can accommodate 16 if you are a large group. There are six twin or double rooms each with private bathrooms plus two adjoining bunk rooms, each individually and authentically decorated.
La Ferme is famous for its vast main room, encompassing the whole of the chalet’s top floor with cosy log fires and wonderful views over the valley in all directions. Sun beams into the chalet in the afternoons long after it has set on the rest of the resort below.
